The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Hanak sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Diaz's guard.
Hanak is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Diaz doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Hanak.
Hanak is working for a kimura but Diaz is defending it quite comfortably.
Diaz is trying to maintain the position but Hanak is very close to passing his half guard.

Diaz has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Hanak should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Diaz has tightened it up now! Hanak should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

After the fight, Kamerun Diaz was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly. |
