Coming up we have a heavyweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Shunsui Kyoraku (ranked 1155 p4p, 0 weight class) and Damian Brooks (ranked 1899 p4p, 0 weight class). Brooks has chosen Notorious B.I.G. - Juicy as his entrance music. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Damian Brooks enters the cage!

In the red corner, competing out of Tokyo, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 0 losses; Shunsui Kyoraku! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 0 losses; Damian Brooks!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.


The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Brooks shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kyoraku as he jumps to the side.
Kyoraku tries to counter by clinching up but Brooks breaks away and moves out of range.

Kyoraku gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Kyoraku changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Brooks fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Kyoraku displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Brooks.

Kyoraku closes the distance and pushes Brooks back into the cage.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Brooks jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Kyoraku is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Kyoraku and Brooks has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
