Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dollar Bill (ranked 25213 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nathan Osgood (ranked 8961 p4p, 0 weight class). Nathan Osgood looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 17 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dollar Bill!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Nathan Osgood!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Osgood looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Osgood tries to clinch but Bill moves out of range.
Bill misses with a double jab.
Osgood shoots for a takedown but Bill saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Osgood shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Bill as he jumps to the side.
Osgood throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Bill tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Osgood paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Osgood wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Osgood looks winded!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Osgood keeps the fight on the outside.
Bill circles away from the clinch attempt.
Bill displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Osgood.
Bill is looking to counter the offense by Osgood and move into the clinch.

Bill throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Osgood's waist but Osgood gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bill off to one side.
Bill really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Bill shoots in looking for a takedown but Osgood manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Bill's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Bill is defended easily by Osgood.

Osgood shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bill but Bill pushes him off and we're back to square one.

That was a close round but I would say that Dollar Bill will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

and Osgood counters with a three punch combo that has Bill backing up. Bill nods at Osgood to acknowledge the strikes.

Despite the aggression on Osgood's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.

Bill is trying to maintain a safe position but Osgood gets an underhook and turns Bill into the cage.

Osgood gets control of Bill's arms and successfully pulls guard. Osgood will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Bill will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Osgood has his foot on Bill's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bill works his way back into a safe position though.

Osgood escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bill gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Bill stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Osgood swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Osgood is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Osgood keeping moving, preventing Bill from controlling successfully.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Bill throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Osgood's waist but Osgood gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bill off to one side.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Osgood rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bill moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Well Osgood has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
