Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Maurice Jenkins (ranked 2078 p4p, 314 weight class) and Alfredo Negreiros (ranked 1740 p4p, 265 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Alfredo Negreiros!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Bruno Lombardi and Russell Pearce.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Negreiros lands with a hook. Jenkins tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Negreiros clinches up with Jenkins and pushes him back against the cage.

Jenkins ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Jenkins no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Jenkins bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Negreiros's guard.

Negreiros wants to get back to his feet but Jenkins is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jenkins jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Negreiros walks away with a smile on his face. Jenkins gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Negreiros lands a big right hand that sends Jenkins crashing to the mat! Negreiros stays standing though and waves Jenkins back to his feet!

Jenkins dives in for a single leg takedown but Negreiros sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Oh Jenkins is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Jenkins tries to keep at a distance but Negreiros has taken the fight into the clinch.
Negreiros dips a shoulder and cracks Jenkins with a mighty uppercut! Jenkins falls back against the cage and Negreiros unloads with a barrage of strikes! Jenkins is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Negreiros screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

In his post fight interview, Alfredo Negreiros started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
