Coming up we have a welterweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Kasey Scorpion (ranked 468 p4p, 0 weight class) and Police Officer (ranked 5059 p4p, 642 weight class). Scorpion kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Jiu Jitsu. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

In the red corner, competing out of Tokyo, with a TWGC record of 2 wins and 2 losses; Kasey Scorpion! And in the blue corner, fighting out of London, with a TWGC record of 2 wins and 0 losses; Police Officer!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Ian Loll and Alec Ball.


The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.
Scorpion fails with an attempt to clinch.

Scorpion gets tackled into the cage by Officer. Officer maintains the clinch.

Scorpion is fighting off a takedown attempt but Officer is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Scorpion to the mat. Scorpion regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Officer passes Scorpion's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Scorpion tries to get to full guard but Officer has control of the leg.

Officer is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Scorpion is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Scorpion's coaches at Canadian Elite Bruins Gym have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position.
Scorpion is looking to regain half guard here but Officer keeps moving and retains side control.

Officer is dominating on the ground here - he's now on his opponent's back, looking to sink in the hooks. Scorpion is in real trouble.

Officer is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Scorpion knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Scorpion for a finish.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Officer is trying to stick to Scorpion's back but Scorpion is turning into Officer. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Officer's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Scorpion.

Officer has his foot on Scorpion's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Scorpion works his way back into a safe position though.

Scorpion has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Officer escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Scorpion gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Scorpion trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Officer manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!

Officer looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Scorpion is defending well. Officer quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Scorpion has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Officer celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.

Police Officer really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Humanoid Nutrition (160Q for 180$) logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
