Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Karnak Lao (ranked 5712 p4p, 501 weight class) and Justin Sane (ranked 6534 p4p, 538 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Eddie Farnsworth and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lao shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Sane's guard.
Sane looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Sane lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
Lao definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Lao tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Lao has control of Sane's left arm, preventing Sane from doing any damage.
Sane controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Lao manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Lao wants to get back to full guard but Sane has passed into side control.
Lao is looking to reverse the position.
Sane is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Lao looks calm but he's in trouble here. Sane gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Lao is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Sane lets go of the hold and Lao can pop his arm back in it's socket.

In his post fight interview, Justin Sane started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
