Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Albert Wren!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Trevor Gratis and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ayala gets tackled into the cage by Wren. Wren maintains the clinch.
Ayala could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Ayala tightens his grip and picks Wren up, before dumping him to the ground. Wren manages to land in guard.
Ayala postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Ayala is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Ayala throwing strikes but missing.
Ayala in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Wren wants to stand up but Ayala is controlling him.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Ayala is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Wren keeping moving, preventing Ayala from controlling successfully.

Wren wants to sweep but no luck.
Ayala thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Ayala wanted to stand there but Wren had control of the position.
Ayala drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Ayala jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Ayala is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Wren avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Ayala has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Wren is proving hard to escape from.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Wren gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Wren is trying to maintain a safe position but Ayala gets an underhook and turns Wren into the cage.
Wren has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Ayala regains guard immediately.
Ayala wriggles free and stands up.
Wren gets a takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ayala controlling the position well.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Ayala kicks off Wren and gets to his feet.
Wren throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Ayala counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Wren looks winded!
Ayala drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Wren manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Ayala has Wren in his guard.
Wren is posturing up here but Ayala has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Wren tries to roll out but it's too tight and Wren has to tap! Slick submission there by Ayala!
