The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maanpohja shoots in for a double leg but Cosades sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Cosades throws a right and a left that Maanpohja avoids nicely.
Maanpohja misses with a takedown attempt
and Cosades counters with a left to the body.
Maanpohja tries for a takedown but Cosades sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Caius Cosades has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Johannes Maanpohja.
Maanpohja doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Maanpohja has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Cosades lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Maanpohja backwards.

Cosades escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Maanpohja rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Cosades moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Cosades sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Maanpohja's defenses. It connects perfectly with Maanpohja's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
