The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Salazar keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
A decent looking cross lands there for Salazar.

Sanchez walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Nice body kick from Sanchez.
Sanchez walks into a left hand.
Sanchez takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Salazar scores with a sloppy right hand. Sanchez should have avoided that one.
Salazar connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Salazar throws a lazy right hand but Sanchez sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Sanchez takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Salazar thows a left - swing and a miss!
Horrible takedown attempt by Sanchez or perhaps it was just good defense by Salazar, which made it look bad.
Salazar is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

Salazar lands a nice shot to the body.
Salazar smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Sanchez closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Salazar did well to prevent Sanchez getting side control.

Sanchez lands a big elbow - Salazar is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Sanchez!
