Storm throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Szczerbiec's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Storm dives in looking to finish as Szczerbiec flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Storm's strikes! Storm is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Szczerbiec's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Szczerbiec was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.

Szandor Storm decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
