The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Shigeki Fujiwara and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Nagumo misses.

Nagumo ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Van Acker moves away.
Nagumo looks to score with a jab to the body but Van Acker is just out of range.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
No joy there for Nagumo, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Nagumo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Van Acker. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Van Acker lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Nagumo quite badly. Nagumo pulls Van Acker in close trying to recover. Van Acker postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Nagumo on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Nagumo doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Luc Van Acker!
In his post fight interview, Luc Van Acker started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
