Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the super heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 14 - 0, fighting out of New York, David Wuzz!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Marcus Ware!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Taro Takaoka and Shigeki Fujiwara.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wuzz closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Ware quickly recovers to half guard.
Ware is looking to improve his position.
Wuzz looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Wuzz is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Ware doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Wuzz.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Ware is defending against the submission attempts here by Wuzz.

Wuzz seems to be working for a kimura but Ware defends the submission attempt.
Wuzz sitting and controlling from the half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ware is trying to control but can't.

Wuzz looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Ware really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Wuzz. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Wuzz not doing much here.

Ware looks like he's trying to stand up.
Wuzz is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Ware is trying to stand up here but Wuzz is controlling him well.

Wuzz is looking for a kimura here.
Ware wants to get back to his feet.
Ware tries to get to full guard but Wuzz has control of the leg.
Wuzz stalling.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Wuzz is thwarting Ware's attempts to control the position.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Wuzz in particular looking to stall.
Wuzz trying to mount his opponent but Ware defends it.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Wuzz moves into full mount! Ware won't be happy about that!
Ware tries to lock up and control but Wuzz gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Wuzz looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Wuzz content just to control the position here.
Ware really trying hard to get back to half guard here.

Ware tries to hold on but Wuzz pushes him away.
Ware working to try and regain half guard.
Ware wants to control but Wuzz is having none of it.
Ware is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Wuzz is staying active.
Wuzz moves to back control.
Ware rolls, trying to escape but Wuzz keeps control of the position.
Ware is still trying to improve position.
Wuzz really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Ware.

Wuzz is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Ware is defending well though. Wuzz let's go of the attempt for now.
Ware tries to roll but Wuzz sticks to his back.

Wuzz tries to keep control of the position but Ware is staying busy.
Wuzz biding his time, looking for the opening.
The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Wuzz's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
Ware rolls, trying to escape but Wuzz keeps control of the position.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Wuzz is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but Ware won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips Wuzz off his unconscious opponent!

During a confident post fight interview, David Wuzz thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
