The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takaziko fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Thirteen to the ground. Takaziko is now in Thirteen's guard.
Takaziko is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Thirteen keeping moving, preventing Takaziko from controlling successfully.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Takaziko throws an elbow that misses. Thirteen uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Takaziko's guard. Nice move by Thirteen!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Takaziko wants to stand up but Thirteen is controlling him.

Thirteen is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Thirteen is looking for a kimura but Takaziko is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Thirteen to get the leverage.
Takaziko tries to roll over but Thirteen keeps him under control.
Takaziko is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Thirteen working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Thirteen looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Takaziko with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Thirteen will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Takaziko wants to improve his position but Thirteen is controlling well.
