Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tito Sobis (ranked 1354 p4p, 43 weight class) and Mark Coleman Jr (ranked 2319 p4p, 52 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 29 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tito Sobis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 31 - 20 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Mark Coleman Jr!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Chris Downing and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sobis has closed the distance and engaged Coleman Jr in a clinch.
Sobis on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Coleman Jr misses with a punch to the body.

Coleman Jr shoots for a double leg takedown but Sobis sprawls well. He's pushed Coleman Jr's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Sobis throws a nice looking combination but Coleman Jr bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Sobis blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

That was a close round but I would say that Tito Sobis will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Sobis's corner calls for a 1-2. Sobis obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Coleman Jr changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Sobis looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Coleman Jr postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Coleman Jr is working to tighten his grip on Sobis's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Sobis has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Coleman Jr is really squeezing tight and eventually Sobis passes out! Coleman Jr breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:30 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Mark Coleman Jr!
