Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Harry Entei (ranked 1631 p4p, 179 weight class) and Luiz Correia Azevedo (ranked 4829 p4p, 418 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Entei throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Entei seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Entei paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Azevedo shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Entei pinned against the cage. Entei gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Entei connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Azevedo's hands.
Azevedo fails with a takedown attempt.
Entei throws a counter high kick but Azevedo was just alert enough to avoid it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Azevedo avoids the head kick by Entei.
Entei lands with a slapping head kick.

Entei misses with the combination.
Azevedo drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Entei defends it well.
Azevedo misses with a takedown attempt - Entei sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Harry Entei has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Luiz Correia Azevedo.

Azevedo drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
You can see the frustration on Entei's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Azevedo is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Entei will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Entei is trying to get back to half guard.

Azevedo tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Entei tries to improve position but can't.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Azevedo is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Entei knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Entei stops Azevedo from passing to mount.

Azevedo is trying to get an arm triangle but Entei is defending well.

Azevedo thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Azevedo working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
Entei prevents Azevedo from moving into mount.
Entei wants to control but Azevedo postures up.
Entei tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Azevedo wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Azevedo tries for a kimura but Entei is defending well.
Entei looks to move to half guard but instead Azevedo has passed into mount! Damn!

Azevedo looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.

Azevedo swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!
