Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 10 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Enda OSullivan!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Michael Johnstone and Peter Branson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
OSullivan has a takedown stuffed.
OSullivan misses with a combination

and Young moves into the clinch.

OSullivan escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
OSullivan tries to clinch up.
Young changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Young circles away from the clinch attempt
and Young counters with a right hand to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Young fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with OSullivan, pushing him back against the cage.

OSullivan's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Young really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Young throws a leg kick but OSullivan sees it coming and moves out of range.

Young clinches up against the cage.
Young pushes OSullivan back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
OSullivan can't break the clinch.
OSullivan is trying to break the clinch but Young has him pressed against the cage.
Young wants to get back to striking at distance but OSullivan won't allow it.

OSullivan shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Young but Young pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Young jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as OSullivan walks away with a smile on his face. Young gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Young has one foot on OSullivan's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
OSullivan changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Young tries to avoid it but OSullivan manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Young to the ground. Young escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Young shoots in but no luck this time.
A head kick misses from Young.
OSullivan blocks the body kick.
OSullivan looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Young fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Young pulls out of a head kick attempt.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from OSullivan.

Young darts in looking for a takedown but OSullivan gets double underhooks and turns Young into the cage.

OSullivan changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Young looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
OSullivan is looking to take a break and control but Young is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

OSullivan decides to stand back up.
OSullivan tries for a takedown but Young sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Young fails in his attempt to clinch.

Young shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says OSullivan as he avoids it easily.
OSullivan steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Young.
Young avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
OSullivan fails with the takedown.
We've been informed that OSullivan has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Young shoots for a takedown but OSullivan saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
OSullivan shoots in looking for a takedown. Young tries to sprawl out of it but OSullivan keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Young manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
OSullivan moves out of range of the body kick from Young.
OSullivan steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect.
OSullivan blocks a head kick by Young.
Young is trying hard to land a takedown here. OSullivan sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

and Young makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Young throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around OSullivan's waist but OSullivan gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Young off to one side.

Young shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. OSullivan is trying to defend but Young finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Jason Young overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Young seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but OSullivan does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

OSullivan is trying to pull guard but Young turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
OSullivan is looking to control Young's arms but Young gets an underhook and turns him. Now OSullivan has his back to the cage.

and OSullivan counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.

OSullivan has Young pressed against the cage, preventing Young from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Young tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. OSullivan just stands there and leans against the cage.
Young looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

OSullivan has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Young uses from the top position.
Young's corner is telling him to maintain position.
OSullivan wants to stand and escape but Young is having none of it.

OSullivan has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Young is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for OSullivan.
OSullivan can't do much from the bottom here.

Young is looking to take a break and control but OSullivan is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Young will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

I would just about give that final round to Enda OSullivan.
