Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Smelly Chest (ranked 6497 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ranga Doom (ranked 24890 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Smelly Chest!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ranga Doom!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Aafke Stam and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chest throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Doom tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Doom will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Doom sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Chest throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Doom looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
No joy there for Chest, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Chest throws a lazy body kick
and Doom counters with a series of strikes. Chest will be more careful next time no doubt.
Chest looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Doom throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
It looked like Chest was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Doom misses with a straight right.
Chest swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
No luck for Doom with that takedown attempt.
Chest feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Doom's calf.
Doom throws a right and a left that both miss.
Chest appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Smelly Chest is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Chest circles away from the clinch attempt
and Chest makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Doom really felt that one!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Chest lands a big head kick that sends Doom to the canvas! Chest follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Smelly Chest!
