The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baddou lands with a straight right. Van Morin didn't see that one coming.
Van Morin tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Baddou counters with a straight right hand.
Baddou tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Van Morin was well out of range. Poor timing from Baddou.
Van Morin steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Baddou.
Van Morin has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Van Morin there as he acknowledges the shot.
Baddou scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Baddou lands with a cross.
Baddou scores with a big combo that sends Van Morin crashing to the mat! He's still conscious but the referee has seen enough as Van Morin flops around uncontrollably and he's called an end to the fight! Baddou jumps onto the ropes and throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Gross.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hamza Baddou!
An out of breath Hamza Baddou thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
Krill Van Morin was interviewed post fight and said 'STRONT!'.
