The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
DaSilva scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.

DaSilva tries to break the clinch but Michael is controlling the position.
DaSilva is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Michael to keep the fight standing.
DaSilva struggles to land a body shot inside as Michael controls his hands.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as DaSilva takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
DaSilva jumps guard but Michael stands there with DaSilva around his waist. DaSilva gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Michael is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Michael is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

DaSilva tries to circle away but Michael has him pinned against the cage.

DaSilva gets control of Michael's arms and successfully pulls guard. DaSilva will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Michael would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Michael is sitting in close to DaSilva's body. DaSilva has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Michael is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Michael is tapping! That was a very nice submission by DaSilva.
