Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Darren Dahok (ranked 3140 p4p, 418 weight class) and John Rydeland (ranked 7395 p4p, 728 weight class). Dahok comes into the arena with Lucyfire Devil Blues blaring out of the sound system. The crowd seem to be enjoying Rydeland's choice of entrance music: Robbery - Not sneak attack. Darren Dahok had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, John Kavanagh and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dahok throws the left hand but Rydeland avoids the punch easily.
Rydeland slips a jab and a cross from Dahok.
Dahok misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A little jabbing left from Rydeland on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Rydeland throws a looping overhand right but Dahok ducks down to avoid it.
Dahok is looking to counter punch.
Rydeland cracks Dahok with an open hand slap.
Rydeland staying out of range there.
Dahok throws a series of punches but Rydeland moves out of range.
Dahok throws a lazy uppercut
and Rydeland cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Rydeland tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Dahok was well out of range. Poor timing from Rydeland.
Rydeland looks to throw the jab but Dahok is out of range.
Dahok seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.

Rydeland lands a head shot.
John Rydeland seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dahok falls off balance throwing a combination
and Rydeland counters with a lovely straight right hand!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
A low kick from Dahok is predictable there
and Rydeland counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Dahok is rocked!
Rydeland grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Dahok takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Rydeland cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!

After winning the bout, John Rydeland thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
