Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rick Piano (ranked 6659 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ticallion Stallion (ranked 8089 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rick Piano !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ticallion Stallion!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Daniel Franklin and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stallion looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Piano is fending him off so far but Stallion persists. Nope, Piano circles away and we're back to standing.

Stallion rushes Piano and presses him up against the cage.

Piano manages to break the clinch.

Piano fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Stallion sprawls well initially but Piano persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Piano is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Stallion is looking for a sweep. Piano is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Stallion gets back to full guard.
Piano slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Piano 's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Piano stops Stallion from standing up.
Stallion controls Piano momentarily but Piano frees himself.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Piano works over Stallion with some ground and pound from guard.
Stallion is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Piano knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Stallion on the ground.
Piano is stalling in the full guard.
Stallion controls Piano momentarily but Piano frees himself.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Piano misses the shot to the body.

Piano bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Stallion tries to escape but Piano is in control.
Stallion tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Piano wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Piano happy to just control the position for now.
Stallion is trying to improve his position.
Stallion should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Stallion manages to work his way to half guard, despite Piano 's best efforts.

Stallion is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Piano pulls his head out easily.
Stallion is trying to get back to full guard.

Piano seems to be working for a kimura but Stallion defends the submission attempt.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Piano wants to stand up but Stallion has a hold of him and won't allow it.
Piano with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Piano is looking to advance position but Stallion won't allow it.
Stallion is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Piano is trying to work for a kimura but Stallion is defending well.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Rick Piano dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Stallion tries to clinch there but Piano circles away.
Piano wants to clinch.
Piano throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Stallion's waist but Stallion gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Piano off to one side.
Piano tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Stallion manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Piano is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Stallion can do to turn this around?
Stallion shoots for a takedown but Piano saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Piano looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Stallion can do anything to dispel that myth.
Piano prevents Stallion from standing back up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Stallion is trying to control but can't.

Rick Piano overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Piano is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Stallion doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Piano .

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Stallion will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Piano looks to land a combination but Stallion avoids it well.

Piano forces Stallion back against the cage and clinches.

Stallion breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Piano shoots in but Stallion avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Stallion drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Piano defends it well.
Piano is looking to clinch but Stallion is avoiding it.

Piano closes the distance and clinches.
Stallion tries to pull guard but Piano won't allow it.

Piano manages to break the clinch.
Piano goes for a double leg but Stallion avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Stallion continues to drive forward.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rick Piano . That's going to take a lot out of him.
Stallion looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Piano is fending him off so far but Stallion persists. Nope, Piano circles away and we're back to standing.

Stallion tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Piano manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Piano stuffs the takedown.
Stallion shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Piano defends it nicely.

Piano shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Stallion pinned against the cage. Stallion gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Piano fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Stallion checks it well.
Stallion pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Piano fails to land the takedown.
Stallion shoots in for a takedown but Piano shows good takedown defense.
Piano looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rick Piano . That's going to take a lot out of him.

Rick Piano is winning the standup battle so far.
No joy there for Piano , who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Stallion lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Stallion misses with a low kick as Piano jumps back.

Stallion throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Piano was covering up waiting for the punch and Stallion finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Piano won't allow Stallion to pass to mount.
Stallion is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Stallion throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Piano is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Stallion moves nicely into side control.
Piano sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Piano looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Piano is trying to control but can't.
Stallion trying to control from half guard but Piano is working away.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Stallion wants to get back to his feet.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Stallion is trying hard to land a takedown here. Piano sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Stallion throws a leg kick but Piano moved away.
Piano shoots in for a takedown but Stallion shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Piano circles away from the clinch attempt.
Piano lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.


It looks like Ticallion Stallion has been cut.
Piano fails with a takedown attempt.
Piano tries to clinch but Stallion moves out of range.
Stallion explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Piano shoots in but Stallion avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Stallion darts in and clinches Piano up against the cage.

And that's the end of the fight!
Ticallion Stallion comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Piano has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
