Coming up we have a lightweight kickboxing rules bout between Incheol Wonha (ranked 1865 p4p, 187 weight class) and Vesa Sykk (ranked 556 p4p, 62 weight class). The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Decent striking displayed by Sykk there.
Sykk fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Wonha on the side of the head.
Vesa Sykk seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Sykk gets tackled into the ropes by Wonha. Wonha maintains the clinch.
Wonha throws an elbow but it misses.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Sykk.
Wonha lands with a right to the head.

Sykk breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Wonha just misses with a punch to the body.
Wonha displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Sykk throws out the jab.

Sykk's corner calls for a 1-2. Sykk obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Sykk throws a good cross that connects.

Wonha jabs Sykk to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Sykk feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Wonhas jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Wonha throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Sykk's head.

and Sykk counters with a straight right hand.

Wonha tries to clinch up but Sykk circles away and keeps his distance.
Wonha takes one on the button.
Sykk thows a left - swing and a miss!
A quick step to the side and Wonha tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Wonha is looking to wear down Sykk with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Wonha throws a low kick, looking for Sykk's leg but Sykk calmly moves out of range.
Sykk scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Wonha drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
A big right from Wonha misses.
Wonha takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Sykk dips to his left and cracks Wonha with an uppercut!

Wonha is rocked!
Sykk is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Wonha had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Wonha does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Oh Wonha is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Wonha misses with a few strikes there.
Wonha seems to have got his legs back now.
Sykk lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

Wonha looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Sykk scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Sykk closes the distance and catches Wonha with a lead hook that drops him to the canvas! Wonha is clearly dazed and struggling here! 3,4,5,6,7 and Wonha is up to his feet but the referee has called it off! Wonha is still far too wobbly and he's not going to allow the fight to continue! Sykk takes it!

Vesa Sykk spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
