The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rainard fails with a takedown attempt.

Rainard moves into range and clinches up with Frank.

Rainard escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Frank scores with an uppercut up the middle.

Rainard is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Frank defends well.

Rainard working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Frank doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Frank manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Horrible takedown attempt by Rainard or perhaps it was just good defense by Frank, which made it look bad.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Rainard shoots in looking for a takedown but Frank manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Rainard's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Frank throws a hook to the side of Rainard's head but Rainard sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Frank stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Frank wants it to stay on the feet.
Rainard is breathing heavily.

Frank lands a big right hand that sends Rainard crashing to the mat! Frank stays standing though and waves Rainard back to his feet!

Rainard is rocked!

Frank throws an uppercut from hell that sends Rainard clean off his feet! He's out cold! Frank stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
