The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Walter lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
A shot to the liver by Walter. Beautiful body shot.
Chief tries to clinch
and Chief takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Bobby Chief seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Chief is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Walter's half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Walter is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Chief not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Chief throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Chief takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
