Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Slick Minard (ranked 6476 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danny Ciprianni (ranked 3158 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Minard might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to D.N.A. by Kendrick Lamar. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

19 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Danny Ciprianni!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Tarja Halkonen and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ciprianni throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Minard fails with an attempt to clinch.
We've been informed that Ciprianni has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Minard closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Ciprianni knocks Minard to the floor with a head kick! Can he finish him!?
It looks like Slick Minard has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Ciprianni has an Americana. Minard didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Ciprianni is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Ciprianni hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Danny Ciprianni!
The defeated Slick Minard had this to say: 'When you have already lost everything there is no reason to fear defeat. Let's GO!!'.
