Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chinggis Khaan (ranked 3103 p4p, 417 weight class) and Brannigan Steele (ranked 2229 p4p, 333 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Chinggis Khaan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Brannigan Steele!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Khaan.
Khaan takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Khaan gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Khaan wants to stand up but Steele is controlling him.
Steele in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Steele trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Khaan is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Steele is controlling him.
Khaan manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Khaan with a nice cross.
Khaan tries to move into range but Steele moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Steele checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Khaan misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Khaan takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Steele ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Khaan moves away.

Khaan lands with a nice body punch.
A looping hook to the body misses from Khaan. Steele does a little dance to reset his feet.
Khaan misses with a looping left.
Steele dives in and scores a takedown into Khaan's guard.
Khaan wants to stand and escape but Steele is having none of it.
Steele advances to half guard.
Khaan is trying to stand.
Steele wants to take a breather but Khaan is having none of it.
Khaan is looking to escape.
Khaan is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at Helsinki Athletics Club, so we'll see if he gets out of it.

Steele is stalling here. Khaan is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Steele seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Khaan has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
Steele parries the strikes from Khaan easily there. Khaan is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Steele to escape.

Khaan tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Steele is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Steele has his hands on Khaan's head, controlling the position.

Khaan throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Steele works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Khaan throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

Khaan throws an elbow that misses. Steele uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Khaan's guard. Nice move by Steele!
Steele prevents Khaan from getting back to his feet.
Steele wants to control from the top but Khaan keeps moving.
Khaan wants to stand but Steele is controlling the position.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Steele tries to free his leg and advance position but Khaan is retaining full guard.
Steele trying to control but Khaan is working from the bottom.
Steele won't allow Khaan to get back to his feet.
Steele wants to control from the top but Khaan keeps moving.
Steele is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Steele fails with a takedown attempt.
Khaan throws a looping overhand right but Steele ducks down to avoid it.
Steele steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Khaan.
Steele moves into range and connects with a jab.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Chinggis Khaan will probably get the nod.
That's time! Khaan's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Khaan cracks Steele with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
It looks like Brannigan Steele has been cut.
Khaan lands with a shot to the body.
Steele throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Steele tries to score a power double leg takedown but Khaan sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Steele somewhat.
Khaan swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Steele scores with a hook to the body. Khaan takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Khaan walks into a stiff left hand from Steele.
Steele takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Steele is rocked!
A big right from Khaan misses.
And Steele tries to counter it with a takedown but Khaan pushes his down on his head and steps out.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Khaan missing with a left hand there. Steele was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Steele closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Khaan bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Steele thuds a left hand into Khaan's body.
Khaan moves out of range of the body kick from Steele.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Steele pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Steele throws a leg kick which misses Khaan's front leg but catches the back leg as Khaan tries to avoid it.
Khaan throws a leg kick that is checked
and Steele counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Khaan pushes Steele off and gets back to his feet.
Khaan takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Steele drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Khaan rushes Steele and starts throwing punches like they are going out of style! Steele is up against the cage and has nowhere to go. Khaan piles on the pressure and Steele crumples to the floor! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:29 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Chinggis Khaan!
