The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Speed throws a sloppy head kick and Valentine moves out of range easily.
A little jabbing left from Valentine on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Speed looks to score with a jab to the body but Valentine is just out of range.
A nice combination there by Speed.

It looks like Leon Valentine has been cut.
Tyson Speed seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Speed throws a head kick that misses.
Speed lands a jab-cross combination.

Speed lands a big head kick that sends Valentine tumbling to the mat! Speed takes a step backwards and waves Valentine back to his feet - he wants the finish!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Speed throws a powerful right kick. Valentine tried to block low but the kick was high! Valentine was taken right off of his feet! Speed jumps in to finish the job and the ref tackles him! The fight is over!
