Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jada Mbaa (ranked 4985 p4p, 430 weight class) and Sampson Shain (ranked 4314 p4p, 383 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jada Mbaa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sampson Shain!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Chad Campbell and Joseph Jones.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mbaa throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Shain shapes to counter with a head kick.
Mbaa lands a nice shot to the body.
Shain lands a glancing blow to the side of Mbaa's head.
Shain missing with a left hand there. Mbaa was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Mbaa swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Shain.

It looks like Sampson Shain has been cut.
Mbaa throws an off balance right hand
and Shain counters with a left to the body.
Mbaa moves forwards but Shain connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Mbaa avoids the head kick by Shain.
Shain lands a nice hook to Mbaa's body. Mbaa takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Shain ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Mbaa moves away.
Mbaa tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Shain was well out of range. Poor timing from Mbaa.
Mbaa swings for the body but Shain moves out of range.
Shain looks to score with a jab to the body but Mbaa is just out of range.
Shain moves out of range of the body kick.

Mbaa cracks Shain with an open hand slap.
Shain throws a body punch but Mbaa moves out of range.
Mbaa wants to clinch.
Shain scores with a shot to the body.

Shain lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Mbaa connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Shain momentarily.
Mbaa takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Shain throws a body punch but Mbaa moves out of range.
Mbaa slips a straight right by Shain.
Shain just manages to avoid a counter high kick fromMbaa.
Shain has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Mbaa.
Mbaa scores with a head kick. Shain tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Shain fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Mbaa throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Shain scores with a jab.
Mbaa takes a shot right to the bread basket.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Shain throws a shot to the body.
Shain uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Mbaa.
Mbaa throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Mbaa throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Shain appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Shain lands a body shot.

Mbaa misses with a few strikes there.
Mbaa pivots, looking for a leg kick but Shain is out of range and Mbaa settles back down.
Shain throws a jab but it's blocked by Mbaa.
Mbaa throws the left hand but Shain avoids the punch easily.
Shain swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Shain has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Shain tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Mbaa manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Mbaa throws a push kick but Shain slaps the foot to one side.
Shain takes a swing at Mbaa's ribcage but misses.
Mbaa misses with a head kick.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Shain! But no joy.
Shain dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Mbaa throws a nice looking combination but Shain bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Shain scores with a nice strike.
Mbaa gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Shain.

Mbaa just misses with a punch to the body.
Mbaa wants to land a leg kick but Shain is out of range.
Shain raises up his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Mbaa takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Jada Mbaa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mbaa tries to land a front kick but Shain steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Shain throws out a counter right but Mbaa avoids it with no problem.
Shain dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Shain steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Mbaa.
Shain thuds a left hand into Mbaa's body.
Mbaa throws a left and a right that both miss
and Shain cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Mbaa has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Shain finds it's way round the side to connect with Mbaa's head.
Mbaa misses with a right hand
letting Shain counter with a right hand.
Shain moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Mbaa misses with a hook to the body
enabling Shain to counter with a crisp jab.
Shain bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Mbaa's head.
Shain moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Shain steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Mbaa.
Shain doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Mbaa misses with an uppercut. Shain saw that one coming.
Mbaa walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Shain is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Mbaa had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Mbaa misses the jab.
Mbaa throws a right hand that misses
and Shain counters with a left to the body.
Mbaa misses with a right hand
and Shain counters with a nice body shot.
Mbaa swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Shain misses with a body shot.
The crowd cheers as Shain lands an impressive looking overhand right. Mbaa doesn't seem phased though.

Shain connects with a body shot.
Oh Mbaa is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Mbaa is breathing heavily.
Shain circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends Mbaa tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! Shain wins by KO!
