And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Keshi Kerosha!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Ren Mimura and Sosuke Kotani.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kerosha will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Kerosha closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Velazquez to the mat! Velazquez manages to get full guard.
Kerosha must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Velazquez is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Kerosha is controlling him.

A close round but Keshi Kerosha will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Velazquez shoots in looking for a takedown. Kerosha tries to sprawl out of it but Velazquez keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kerosha manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Kerosha drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Velazquez defends it well.

Velazquez has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Kerosha off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Velazquez closes the distance and clinches up with Kerosha, looking for a takedown. Velazquez pushes Kerosha against the cage but Kerosha circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Velazquez is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Kerosha presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Velazquez takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Kerosha has hold of one of Velazquez's legs. Velazquez is fighting the takedown attempt but Kerosha gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Velazquez manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Kerosha manages to get himself to full guard.
