The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Vattalles drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Vattalles thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Vattalles is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Vattalles chips away with some ground and pound.
Vattalles's corner is telling him to maintain position.

Vattalles is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bradley is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Vattalles forces his way into half guard.

Still in half guard, Vattalles seems content to control.
Vattalles's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Vattalles winds up and cracks Bradley with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Vattalles in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Bradley tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Vattalles!
