Coming up we have a heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Nero La Croix (ranked 22140 p4p, 809 weight class) and Rick Ross (ranked 4783 p4p, 519 weight class). La Croix's entrance music is La Meme Chose. A fine choice. Ross has chosen Rick Ross - Live Fast Die Young as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ross displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as La Croix throws out the jab.

Ross feints and then cracks La Croix's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow La Croix down.
La Croix throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Ross! But no joy.
Ross throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck La Croix on the side of the head.
La Croix connects with a looping right hand.
Ross has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

La Croix throws a wild body kick that Ross sees coming a mile off.

La Croix scores with a jab and follows up with an uppercut that drops Ross to his knees! He bounces straight back to his feet but is forced to take the mandatory standing 8 count before he's allowed to continue. We're back under way and the fighters meet in the middle of the canvas to re-engage.

Ross leaves his chin hanging out and La Croix seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Ross crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!

A relieved looking Nero La Croix thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
