Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Kelly (ranked 2323 p4p, 339 weight class) and Christian Dior (ranked 3849 p4p, 494 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Daniel Kelly!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Christian Dior!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Steve Montenegro and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dior throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
A telegraphed right hand from Dior misses the target.
Kelly scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Dior keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Kelly.
Kelly lands with a straight right. Dior didn't see that one coming.
A big right from Kelly misses.
Kelly shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Kelly listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Kelly throws a jab when Dior was well out of range.

and Kelly counters with a lovely straight right hand!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Dior slips a straight right by Kelly.
Dior throws a lazy uppercut
and Kelly counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Dior throws a hook to the side of Kelly's head but Kelly sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Dior just misses with a punch to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round.

Kelly was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Dior just misses with a punch to the body.
Dior takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Kelly misses the shot to the body.

The fighters circling - Dior throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
A counter left hand to the body from Kelly misses its target.
Dior stalks Kelly and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Kelly's face. Kelly staggers backwards, shaken.
Dior throws a right and a left that both miss.
Kelly is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Sloppy strikes from Dior. Those never looked like landing.
Dior steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Kelly.
Kelly moves out of range as Dior strikes.
Dior has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight.
Dior throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Kelly.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Kelly swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.

and Kelly counters with a left to the body.
Kelly cracks Dior with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Kelly connects with a right hand. Dior shakes it off.
Kelly takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Dior is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.
Dior rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Kelly counters with a nice right hand that sends Dior toppling to the canvas! Dior scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Kelly finish him?!
Dior is rocked!
Kelly throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Dior is still on wobbly legs! Can Kelly finish him?
A combination from Dior does no damage.
Kelly cracks Dior with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Dior falls to his knees and Kelly doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Daniel Kelly!
After winning the bout, Daniel Kelly thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
