Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Stasius Venom (ranked 713 p4p, 119 weight class) and Vicente Lafayette (ranked 855 p4p, 140 weight class). Venom comes to the cage accompanied by For Heavy Metal we will die!. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lafayette throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Venom scores with a head kick. Lafayette tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Venom shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Lafayette connects with a single shot there.
Venom lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Venom misses with a body shot.
Lafayette cracks the inside of Venom's front leg.
An inside leg kick lands from Venom.
Venom catches Lafayette with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Venom throws a quick inside leg kick.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Lafayette throws a solid leg kick but Venom takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Lafayette.
Venom throwing a counter right hand but Lafayette manages to avoid it.
Venom uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Lafayette.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Lafayette, as that shot connected.
A jab from Venom finds it's way through Lafayette's defenses.
Lafayette throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Lafayette fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Venom manages to avoid it.
Lafayette lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Venom at a distance.
Venom lands a nice hook to Lafayette's body. Lafayette takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Venom looks to score with a jab to the body but Lafayette is just out of range.
Lafayette wants to slow Venom down by chopping away at his legs.

Lafayette misses with a right hand
and Venom counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Venom throws a body kick that misses.
Venom throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Lafayette stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
A left lands for Lafayette.
Lafayette looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Venom on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Venom misses with the combination.

Venom takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Venom cracks Lafayette with an open hand slap.
Lafayette dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Venom pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Lafayette lands the left hand.
Venom has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Venom there as he acknowledges the shot.
Lafayette lands a jab to Venom's midsection.
Venom lands with a hook. Lafayette tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
A left lands for Lafayette.
Lafayette smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Venom is rocked!

Lafayette throws a body kick that misses.
Oh Venom is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Lafayette lands a big right hand that sends Venom crashing to the mat! Lafayette stays standing though and waves Venom back to his feet!
Venom misses with an uppercut.
Lafayette just misses with a punch to the body.
Venom displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Lafayette throws out the jab.
Venom half committed to a counter leg kick.
Lafayette takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Venom seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Venom misses with a jab to the body
and Lafayette counters with a leg kick.
Venom seems to have got his legs back now.
Lafayette uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Venom.
Lafayette doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Lafayette blocks a leg kick.
Nice jab there from Venom.
Nice cross by Lafayette.
Venom looks to land a right hand but Lafayette moved out of range.
Venom pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Venom closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Lafayette's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Venom connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Lafayette scrambles back to his feet.
A low kick from Venom misses
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Venom scores with a crisp jab that stopped Lafayette in his tracks.

Lafayette cracks Venom with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Lafayette has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Venom to stand back up!
Lafayette connects with a leg kick. Venom looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Venom ducks under a wild hook from Lafayette.

Venom throws an off balance right hand
and Lafayette scores with a counter punch that sends Venom to the canvas! Lafayette smells blood - he's punishing Venom with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Venom has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:07 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Vicente Lafayette!
Vicente Lafayette really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that House of Valor logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
