The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Berghen throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Berghen takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Smoke throws a poor cross that misses

and Berghen counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Berghen slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Berghen has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Berghen content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Smoke has momentary wrist control but Berghen slips an elbow through the middle.
Berghen postures up and lands a big shot to Smoke's brow.

Berghen pushes down on Smoke's leg and manages to get into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Berghen maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Smoke could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Berghen has cracked it and Smoke is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Berghen!
