Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Koreshkov (ranked 812 p4p, 135 weight class) and Reuben Kincaid (ranked 460 p4p, 79 weight class). Kincaid has chosen REM - Orange Crush as his entrance music. Alexander Koreshkov could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Reuben Kincaid's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Alexander Koreshkov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Reuben Kincaid!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Colin Fotheringham and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kincaid tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Koreshkov was well out of range. Poor timing from Kincaid.
Koreshkov attempts a counter takedown but Kincaid avoids it well and moves away.
Kincaid defending well as Koreshkov loads up on a big left hand.
Kincaid throws a body kick despite being completely out of range

and Koreshkov counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Koreshkov prevents Kincaid from improving his position.

Koreshkov wants to work for an arm triangle but Kincaid is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Koreshkov throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Koreshkov is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Kincaid is just riding it out for now. Koreshkov eventually gives up the hold.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Koreshkov jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Kincaid is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Kincaid and Koreshkov has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Koreshkov creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Kincaid sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Kincaid tries to buck Koreshkov off but Koreshkov is having none of it.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Kincaid is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Koreshkov is looking to work some ground and pound but Kincaid has wrist control.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Koreshkov sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Kincaid's guard.
Kincaid trying to control but Koreshkov postures up.
Koreshkov is just content to waste time from the top position. Kincaid takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

Koreshkov dives in for a single leg takedown but Kincaid sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Kincaid - that will leave a mark!
Kincaid leaves Koreshkov with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Kincaid connects with a looping right hand.


It looks like Alexander Koreshkov has been cut.
Koreshkov is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Kincaid can do to turn this around?

Koreshkov might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Koreshkov drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Kincaid dives on top into guard.

Koreshkov is looking for a sweep. Kincaid is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Kincaid tries to pass to full mount but Koreshkov defends it.

Still in half guard, Kincaid seems content to control.
Kincaid is trying to control. Koreshkov wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Kincaid has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Koreshkov to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Kincaid is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Koreshkov pulls down on the head and he's put Kincaid to sleep! This one is all over!
