The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Reed Andrews and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sudo tries to move into range but Duk Koo moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Sudo tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Duk Koo makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Sudo tries to clinch up but Duk Koo circles away and keeps his distance.
Sudo misses with a body shot
and Duk Koo connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Duk Koo connects with a looping right hand.
Aoki Sudo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Duk Koo swats away the attempt to clinch by Sudo.
Duk Koo unleashes a big counter combination but Sudo bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Duk Koo throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Sudo misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Duk Koo.
Sudo throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Sudo takes a shot right to the bread basket.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Sudo digs a right hand into Duk Koo's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Duk Koo's gas tank.
Sudo throws a punch but it's blocked by Duk Koo.
Sudo has a couple of punches blocked by Duk Koo.
Sudo can't find room to land a body shot as Duk Koo controls the action.

and Duk Koo counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Duk Koo's coach down at Closed was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Duk Koo's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

and Duk Koo counters with a nice uppercut.
Sudo is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Sudo takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Oh Sudo is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

and Duk Koo counters with a huge right that knocks Sudo out cold! Duk Koo is running around with a crazed look on his face - you can see how much that meant to him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Kim Duk Koo!
Kim Duk Koo tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
