Savage throws a lazy uppercut
and Savage takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
It looks like Tom Savage has been cut.
Mendez misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Savage.
Savage steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Mendez.
Savage tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Mendez manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Mendez cracks Savage with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Savage looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Mendez finish him?
Savage is rocked!
Mendez cracks Savage with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Savage falls to his knees and Mendez doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
