The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Al Khabbib closes this distance looking for a takedown but Mandukvong circles away.
Mandukvong scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Al Khabbib gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Mandukvong counters with a lovely straight right hand!

and Mandukvong counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Tong Mandukvong has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Khamed Al Khabbib.
A punch lands to the side of Al Khabbib 's head but he takes it in his stride.

It looks like Khamed Al Khabbib has been cut.

and Mandukvong counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Al Khabbib looks winded!
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Mandukvong, as that shot connected.

Mandukvong drops Al Khabbib with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Al Khabbib looks back up at him and smiles so Mandukvong waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Al Khabbib takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Mandukvong fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks Al Khabbib square on the jaw! Damn, Al Khabbib is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!

Tong Mandukvong decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
