Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Stacinkilla Shizz (ranked 5282 p4p, 450 weight class) and Siete Finess (ranked 3893 p4p, 361 weight class). Stacinkilla Shizz has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Finess lands a jab-cross combination.
Finess tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Finess lands a leg kick that knocks Shizz off balance momentarily.
A big left from Shizz misses.

and Finess holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Finess pulls guard.

Shizz gets to his feet. Finess looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Finess shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Shizz is trying to stand up here but Finess is controlling him well.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Finess wants to work for an arm triangle but Shizz is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Finess content to control rather than advance.

It looks like Finess might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Finess working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

My spies in Spar Bros inform me that Finess has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Finess stops Shizz from getting back to his feet.
Finess is controlling the pace.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Finess is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Finess takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Shizz scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Finess manages to mount him!
Finess tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Finess has hold of Shizz's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Shizz manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Finess lands a nice shot to the head.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Finess lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Shizz hang on?
Shizz is trying to stand up.
Finess has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Shizz's face.
Shizz definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Shizz wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Finess's closed guard. He's half up but Finess has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Finess pivots and extends the arm, Shizz falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Finess! Well done that man!
