Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Prince Sweet (ranked 6503 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rick Sanchez (ranked 4192 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sanchez gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Sweet to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Sanchez is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Sweet presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.

Sanchez blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Sweet looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Sanchez with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Sweet connects with a nice short shot to Sanchez's temple.
Sweet seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Sweet changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Sanchez looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Sweet shoots in looking for a takedown but Sanchez manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Sweet's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

As Sanchez looks to move away, Sweet throws a big counter combo but Sanchez just gets out of the way.
Sanchez looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
