And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crush avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Crush definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Mayer tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Crush manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Crush instigates a clinch.
Crush prevents the takedown attempt.
Mayer tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Crush smiles and moves away.
Mayer throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Crush decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Mayer's guard.
Crush makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Crush trying to control the position from guard on top but Mayer is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Crush postures up in Mayer's guard and throws a big left but Mayer blocks it.
Crush is sitting in close to Mayer's body. Mayer has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Crush is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Crush is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Mayer.
