Jackson comes to the cage accompanied by Valparaiso. OShay is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: The Rumjacks - An Irish Pub Song. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 wins, 0 losses and 0 draws, fighting out of Tokyo, Levi OShay!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Donald Grub and Daniel Bishop.



The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
OShay misses the shot to the body.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Jackson fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Jackson blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Jackson decides to pull guard.

Jackson looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Jackson is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and OShay defends well.
OShay must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

OShay stands and steps away. Jackson gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
OShay scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jackson wants to take the fight to the mat but OShay manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
OShay wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Jackson has him pressed against the cage.

Jackson tries to close the distance and clinch up but OShay swats him away and circles back towards the center.
OShay cracks Jackson with a good jab.

Jackson feints and as OShay raises his hands in defense, Jackson changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Jackson has gone for a leg lock! OShay slips out almost immediately though and dives into Jackson's guard.

OShay stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jackson swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Jackson working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. OShay doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. OShay manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
This has been an exciting period of action!
OShay not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Jackson seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.

Jackson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but OShay can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
OShay controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Jackson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. OShay gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Jackson is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with OShay in particular looking to stall.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jackson is not content to let OShay control the position.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
OShay prevents Jackson from improving his position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Levi OShay will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Nice takedown defense from OShay. No joy for Jackson on that attempt.

OShay's coach down at Hard Knocks Training was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on OShay's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Jackson is looking for a takedown up against the cage. OShay gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

OShay gets through Jackson's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Jackson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Jackson takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Jackson drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but OShay manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Jackson has OShay in his guard.

OShay wants to control from the top but Jackson keeps moving.

Jackson is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but OShay frees his head nicely. Oh but Jackson has switched to an armbar! OShay is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:36 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Armbar). Kamden Jackson!
Kamden Jackson gave a mention to Mockstar Energy Drinks 160Q in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
