Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Screw Ewe (ranked 2851 p4p, 266 weight class) and Rob Frank (ranked 6509 p4p, 493 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Screw Ewe!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Rob Frank!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Daniel Franklin and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ewe's corner calls for a 1-2. Ewe obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Ewe definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Frank looks to throw the jab but Ewe is out of range.
Ewe stalks Frank and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Frank's face. Frank staggers backwards, shaken.


It looks like Rob Frank has been cut.
Ewe scores with the left hand. Frank knows he should have avoided that one.
Ewe ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Frank moves away.
Frank slips under a jab from Ewe.
Frank throws a lazy right hand but Ewe sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Frank fails with an attempt to clinch.
Ewe tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Frank manages to circle out of the way.
Ewe displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Frank throws out the jab.
Frank misses with a right hand
and Ewe counters with a right hand to the body.
Ewe throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ewe stuns Frank with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Frank rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Ewe counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Frank thinking.
Ewe keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Frank.
Ewe's jab looks to have found its range, popping Frank under the eye.
Frank is looking to clinch.
Ewe keeps the fight on the outside.
Ewe throws a right and a left that Frank avoids nicely.
Frank avoids the body shot from Ewe.
Frank throws a shot from downtown. Ewe moves away and avoids it.
Frank misses with a left hand
letting Ewe counter with a right hand.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Frank looks to land a left hand but Ewe moved out of range nicely.
Ewe lands with a hook. Frank tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Frank tries to clinch up but Ewe circles away and keeps his distance.
It looked like Ewe wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Rob Frank seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Frank throws a poor cross that misses
and Ewe counters with a big right hand! Oh Frank is in trouble here! Ewe follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Screw Ewe!
Screw Ewe is the new lightweight champion!
After the big win, Screw Ewe made sure to do all the important stuff like thanking his sponsors Fanatic Inc. and telling the interviewer how much he loves him.
