Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mihai Viteazul (ranked 4203 p4p, 477 weight class) and Cletus McDonald (ranked 2360 p4p, 303 weight class). Viteazul comes to the cage accompanied by Capul lui Mihai Viteazul. The crowd seem to be enjoying McDonald 's choice of entrance music: Merle Haggard - Okie From Muskogee. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Viteazul turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Viteazul manages to end up in side control.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

We've been hearing good reports from Viteazul's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
