Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Beast Boy (ranked 369 p4p, 54 weight class) and Champ Kind (ranked 490 p4p, 64 weight class). Kind has chosen Afternoon Delight as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boy tries to move into range but Kind moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Boy just misses with a punch to the body.
Kind takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Kind throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Boy counters with a straight right hand.
Kind is looking to slow Boy down with leg kicks.
We've been informed that Kind has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
