Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bubba Gumption (ranked 4 p4p, 1 weight class) and Gerbert Bryant (ranked 41 p4p, 2 weight class). Bryant has chosen I just wanna as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Gerbert Bryant has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Bubba Gumption's chin.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Phil Schofield and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bryant blocks the body kick.
Gumption swings for the body but Bryant moves out of range.
Bryant uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Gumption.
Gumption clobbers Bryant with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Bryant throws an off balance right hand
letting Gumption counter with a right hand.
Gumption walks into a left hand.
Bryant has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Bryant there as he acknowledges the shot.
It looks like Gerbert Bryant has been cut.
Gumption swings widly with a right hand
and Bryant counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Bryant misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Gumption looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Bryant ducks under a wild hook from Gumption.
Bryant connects with a body shot that sends Gumption's belly button to the back.

Bryant feints and as Gumption raises his hands in defense, Bryant changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Bryant stands up over Gumption, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Bryant is pushing down on Gumption's leg trying to pass to half guard. Gumption is fighting to maintain full guard but Bryant has managed to sneak the leg through.

Bryant tries to pass the half guard into mount. Gumption knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Bryant is keen to just control but Gumption is a slippery customer.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Bryant working his ground and pound in the gym.

Bryant uses his free foot to push down on Gumption's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Gumption.

Gumption is trying to maintain the position but Bryant is very close to passing his half guard.

Bryant shoots in for a takedown but Gumption shows good takedown defense.
Bryant connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Gumption momentarily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bryant scores with a sloppy right hand. Gumption should have avoided that one.
Gumption uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Bryant.

Bryant throws a lazy right hand but Gumption sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
It looked like Gumption was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Bryant.
Bryant connects with a good right hand that stumbles Gumption. Gumption circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Gumption buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Gumption slips under a jab from Bryant.
Gumption scores with a jab to the body.
Bryant throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Gumption swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Gumption comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Bryant throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Bryant takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Bryant throws a good cross that connects.
Gumption misses the shot to the body.
Gumption throws a lazy right hand but Bryant sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Gumption feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Bryants jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
A punch lands to the side of Gumption 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Bryant lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Gumption circles away quickly and effectively.

and Gumption cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

A chopping leg kick lands by Gumption.
Gumption scores with a one two! Bryant had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Gumption keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Bryant.
Bryant moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Bryant throws a shot from downtown. Gumption moves away and avoids it.
Bryant rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Gumption counters with a stiff right hand.
Bubba Gumption is winning the standup battle so far.
Gumption misses with a low kick as Bryant jumps back.
Gerbert Bryant seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Bryant throws a hook but Gumption avoids it easily.
Bubba Gumption is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Gumption dips to his left and cracks Bryant with an uppercut!
Bryant might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
A jab from Gumption misses.

and Gumption counters with a two punch combo.
Gumption drops Bryant with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Bryant looks back up at him and smiles so Gumption waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Bryant is rocked!
Gumption throws an uppercut from hell that sends Bryant clean off his feet! He's out cold! Gumption stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.

Jumping up and down and very excited, Bubba Gumption waved his t-shirt featuring Aspire Clothing's logo in front of the cameras.
Gerbert Bryant spoke after the fight, saying 'The Gerbert takes, but the Gerbert also gives'.
