Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Mike Hoolahan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Killa Clark!
The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Dirk Anderson and Bart Greer.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Clark moves into the clinch.
Hoolahan tries to pull guard but Clark won't allow it.
Clark is trying to break free.
Clark dodges an elbow strike from Hoolahan.
Clark wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Hoolahan just misses with a elbow thrown towards Clark's brow.
Hoolahan is trying to stall.
Hoolahan is looking to control Clark's arms but Clark gets an underhook and turns him. Now Hoolahan has his back to the cage.
Clark avoids a wild elbow strike from Hoolahan.
Hoolahan lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
Clark avoiding damage as Hoolahan throws knees to the body.
Hoolahan content to slow the pace in the clinch.

Clark pulls guard successfully.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Clark looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Hoolahan stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Clark swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Hoolahan stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Clark swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Hoolahan wants to control from the top but Clark keeps moving.

Clark has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Hoolahan can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Hoolahan tries to close the distance and clinch but Clark swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Hoolahan.

Clark fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Hoolahan sprawls well initially but Clark persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Hoolahan is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Clark pulls his head out easily.

Clark is pressing down on Hoolahan's thigh, looking to free his foot. Hoolahan is holding on for now.
Hoolahan is trying to escape back to his feet but Clark uses the scramble to pass into side control.

Clark is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Hoolahan has escaped the position, nice work there.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Clark controlling the action here.
Hoolahan gets full guard.

Hoolahan has his foot on Clark's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Clark works his way back into a safe position though.
Clark is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Hoolahan is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Clark defends well.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

A close round but Killa Clark will probably get the nod.

Hoolahan tries for a takedown but Clark circles away easily
and Clark counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Hoolahan clinches up against the cage.
Hoolahan is trying to drag Clark to the mat but Clark just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Hoolahan goes for a takedown in the clinch but Clark prevents it.

Clark takes an elbow to the forehead.
Hoolahan jumps guard but Clark stands there with Hoolahan around his waist. Hoolahan gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Clark turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Clark manages to end up in side control.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Poor strikes thrown by Clark there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Hoolahan is desperately trying to improve his position but Clark has a good base and remains in mount.
Clark can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Hoolahan is looking to escape.

Clark has his opponent's back but Hoolahan is looking to stand. He manages to get to his feet and shakes off Clark.

Hoolahan shoots in and bounces Clark off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

A close second round but Killa Clark will probably get the nod - 10:9.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!



Clark closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Clark lands in his opponent's guard.

Hoolahan manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.

Clark has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Hoolahan uses from the top position.
Hoolahan stands up over Clark, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Hoolahan tries to free his leg and advance position but Clark is retaining full guard.
Clark is controlling Hoolahan's posture.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Clark is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Clark utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Hoolahan got a little sloppy there for a moment and Clark has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hoolahan has managed to get both his arms back between Clark's legs - danger averted.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Hoolahan tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Clark swivels and escapes.
Clark unleashes a big counter combination but Hoolahan bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Hoolahan dives in and grabs Clark's left leg, looking for a takedown. Clark pushes down on Hoolahan's head and hops out.

Clark shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Hoolahan is trying to defend but Clark finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Hoolahan is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Clark seems to be looking for submissions.
Hoolahan is doing well to control the position and prevent Clark from advancing to side control.

Clark decides to return to a standing position.

Clark fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Hoolahan, pushing him back against the cage.

Hoolahan goes for a takedown in the clinch but Clark prevents it.

Clark is looking for a triangle but Hoolahan pushes his legs off easily.

Hoolahan drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Clark manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Hoolahan has Clark in his guard.

Killa Clark has got the better of the ground game so far.

Clark decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Hoolahan shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Clark manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Hoolahan keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.
Mike Hoolahan has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Killa Clark is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
This has been an exciting period of action!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Hoolahan pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.

Killa Clark comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Clark winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
