Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Freight Train Tony (ranked 3231 p4p, 311 weight class) and Josh Cook (ranked 1784 p4p, 201 weight class). Josh Cook is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tony ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Cook waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Tony.
As Cook tries to get set, Tony tries to push him back and clinch up but Cook manages to avoid the attempt.
Cook lands a body shot.
Tony takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Tony's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Cook connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Tony scrambles back to his feet.
Tony displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Cook throws out the jab.
Tony is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Cook.
Cook throws a solid leg kick but Tony takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Cook.
Tony fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Cook on the side of the head.
Cook has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

I was talking to Tony's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Tony is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

Josh Cook comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Cook has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
