The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

McVaughn shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Porter kicks McVaughn off and gets to his feet.

Porter pulls McVaughn in close to prevent any damage.
McVaughn looking to sit in guard and control but Porter gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

McVaughn wants to stand up but Porter is controlling him.

McVaughn is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Porter dives into side control.
McVaughn is looking to get back to his feet here but Porter is keeping cool and he's managed to take McVaughn's back.

Porter is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. McVaughn knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften McVaughn for a finish.
