Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Super Heavyweight (ranked 746 p4p, 25 weight class) and Gord Murphy (ranked 3342 p4p, 115 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murphy tries to close the distance and clinch up but Heavyweight swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Heavyweight swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Murphy fails in his attempt to clinch.
Heavyweight seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

Heavyweight moves into the clinch.
Heavyweight blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Murphy gets through Heavyweight's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Murphy misses with some punches.
Murphy doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Heavyweight creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Heavyweight digs a right hand into Murphy's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Murphy's gas tank.
Murphy's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

It looks like Gord Murphy has been cut.
Heavyweight pushes Murphy back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Heavyweight drops Murphy onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Murphy is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!

Murphy is rocked!

Heavyweight lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Murphy to his knees! Heavyweight keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!

A relieved looking Super Heavyweight thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
